Kristina and I headed to our first concert at Edgefield to see Trombone Shorty. Let there be brass!

We celebrated Jasmine’s 19th birthday today at the outdoor patio of Si Senor.

For my 50th birthday, Kristina and I traveled to LA to stay at a swanky Burbank hotel, which coincidentally was celebrating its 50th anniversary. On day one, we adventured at Universal Studios, Hollywood. On day two, we oohed and awed at the Getty Museum complex. And our last day, we explored local neighborhoods and cuisines. I must say, avacados in CA are the most flavorful and ripe I’ve ever encountered.

Great weather for an airshow! What a great theme this year of show casing women pilots, parachutists, and announcers. This was Kristina’s first airshow, and she enjoyed it. And she got to make friends with a police dog. Another first was hearing some of the pilots talk to the audience while flying, even while doing high g maneuvers. Now that is multi-tasking under pressure.
