Florida Vacation – Day 3

Day three of our trip, but day 1 for adventuring at Universal Studios. A first time for Josh, a second time for Jasmine, and a third for me. A nice handful of numbers.

Oh, butterbeer and the wonders of Harry Potter land, how I’ve missed you. And this year there is the new King Kong ride to experience.

Florida Vacation – Day 2

After a hearty breakfast of bacon, bacon and more bacon. With sides of eggs, french toast, biscuits & gravy, and some fruit for good measure, we pack our bags and head to the water park.

We apply liberal amounts of sunscreen, because only losers get sunburned the first day. We conquer the rides one by one, taking advantage of the early morning lull. Soon the day heats up along with the crowds so we escape to the giant wave pool and the lazy tube river to ease our sore feet unused to the trials of concrete paths.

We had our fill of watery fun and depart to meet our family at a secret rendezvous. A secret because there are two map markers on google maps each with the same hotel name. I picked the right one because soon we enjoy a happy reunion with parents Lynn and Rachel and cousin Josh.

We settle into our fancy suites and tour the local pools. Evening hunger beckons and we depart for a carnivores dream wrapped in savory grilled perfection. A Brazilian steakhouse with plentiful skewers of roasted meat brought to our table to delight our palettes and deluge our stomachs.

Time to rest and prepare for another day of adventures.
