This Halloween Jasmine and her friend arianna went trick or treating together. They went all around the neighborhood and got a lot of candy. Arianna went as a dead bloody version of Alice from Alice in wonderland. And Jasmine on the other hand went as a Zombie hunter.
Whenever possible we stopped to greet the various Disney characters. The biggest surprise was when we toured Mickey’s house and backyard barn. It led us to a rather long line in a theater showing old Mickey Mouse movies. Low and behold we went through a door and there was Mickey himself. The circle was now complete – Jeff and I first met Mickey on our honeymoon at Disney World 15 years prior.
Disney certainly knows how to throw a parade. The Paint the Night electrical parade was one of the best we had ever experienced. Both music and lights are choreographed on each float and in different sections of the parade. Quite beautiful to see all the lights at night.
While this may be a ‘classic’ Disney ride, it is infamous for causing major side effects upon leaving. Especially for those of us older than 12 trying to make our way to the exit while both dizzy and nauseous.
My fav ride was Car’s. It’s hard to describe – imagine great scenery, happy music, fun animated electronics topped off with a thrilling race.
