Knowing me to be a big Dr. Who fan, Jeff felt it was important to bring me to the Fish and Chip shop to see all of the memorabilia. It had nothing to do with him wanting more fried fish. (Apparently the best anywhere in the greater Portland area).
While the beans on toast was disappointing (I make a much better version), the ambiance of the place is not to be missed. Never thought to ask for a cup of tea. Will do so next time.
While mom is away, Dad and daughter often go out to dinner. Tonight was some yummy salad, breadsticks and pasta at the Olive Garden.
Middle School brings Jasmine to the land of science fairs. A showcase of experimental minds formulating hypothesis, collecting data and presenting elaborate poster boards.
This post is not for the faint of heart. We had a crow invasion in Portland one day. It put all the scenes in The Birds to shame. Hitchcock would have been proud. I’m proud of the fact I made it to my car without poop on my head. The car was not so lucky.
That time of year! The calendar may say that March 21 is the first day of spring, but here it usually can be found in late February, when the cherry blossoms and daffodils start blooming. Unfortunately early March winds blew all of the yellow petals off my daffodils before I could get a picture.
