Had another winter event this morning. I’m still not sure if this was a snowfall or a permafrost. Either way, it was pretty.

We had a wonderful get together with Destiny and her parents. We met up at John’s Incredible Pizza. The girls exchanged gifts, and then went right to work making bracelets out of tiny colored rubber bands. They also made time in their busy schedule to go play games in the arcade.

We went to the Garden Home Holiday Bazaar this morning. Our first time attending. We enjoyed browsing all the handmade goodies and crafts. We even found a couple Christmas gifts.

While there, we came upon our neighbor Jan. Both Jan and Jasmine got their face painted with holiday cheer. Afterwords, we went out to lunch together.

We almost didn’t go to the Beaverton holiday festival this year. It was just so darn cold – in the brrr 20s.

We bundled up as best we could and got some hot chocolate to warm us up. We listened to some carolers, gawked at Santa, and played on the swings. Basically just counting down the minutes until someone could pull the switch to turn on the Christmas tree lights.

We had our first winter weather this season. It was so easy to wake Jasmine up this morning – “Jasmine, it snowed.” She was out of bed and to the window in 10 seconds.

We had a fun time walking to school in the flurries and making snow tracks on the sidewalk.
