Christmas 2011

The big day finally arrived for Jasmine. In the morning we kept waiting for her wake up, finally at 7am I decided move things along and gave her a little nudge. She ran downstairs, squealed in excitement, then ran upstairs to report. Much present unwrapping and merriment followed. Between playing with her new toys, she gave us a fashion show of her new threads.

Christmas Eve

Our Christmas Eve tradition is to go out for Chinese dinner. Apparently, lots of other people thought so as well, as the place was packed. We ordered our usual favorites – spring rolls, salt & pepper tofu, sauteed asparagus, and vegetable egg foo young. Grandma enjoyed the selections, especially the thai peppers in the tofu dish.

Jasmine was quite curious about the presents on the window ledge. I said go ahead and open them, but Emily wisely said no.
