Jasmine and I got dressed up to go out to see a dance show- the Dance West group. This is located at a local arts magnet school. The lobby was filled with student artwork – paintings, metal, and felt pieces. I really liked the theater – very cool lighting sconces. The show had a nice mixture of classical, modern, latin, jazz and broadway segments. It also had some singing and a couple live band numbers.
Jeff found out that the skating rink we went to a few weeks back is not only open on Easter but the Easter Bunny is there to hand out candy and skate with the kids! A new holiday tradition is born…
Easter 2011 arrives! Easter has a special meaning for us. Our family anniversary is April 20, the day we became Jasmine’s forever family. The house get’s a big spring makeover with lots of crafts and decorations. And the Easter bunny comes and hides eggs and leaves lots of chocolate and jelly beans. Yum.
Our friend Beth invited us a Easter Egg decorating party. We had a great time. Beth found these very cool Easter egg stands with bunny ears. Jasmine and Ella decorated a bunch of eggs. Although I think Emily ‘redecorated’ many of them after the girls went off to play.
No, we didn’t get a dog. We did the next best thing. We visited with my friends energetic puppy. Jasmine had a blast.
