Birthday Part Deux and Trois

Sometimes one birthday party is just not enough. And sometimes even two birthday parties are not enough. And here’s hoping next year we are less ambitious.

Birthday Part Deux was a front yard bash with the neighbor kids. Emily constructed a fairy pavilion with streamers for them to enjoy popsicles and cupcakes. Following the snacks was a water extravaganza with the inflatable world sprayer and many squirt guns.

Birthday Part Trois was a family event that night with cake and opening up all the generous gifts from grandparents and great grandparents. Then there was a fashion show of Jasmine trying out her new outfits.

Father’s Day

With two birthday’s, last day of school, gymnastics and summer day camp starting – June is a busy month for us. But in the middle of the whirlwind we stop to give dad a special day. We had Father Day lunch at one of our favorite restaurants, Sushi Hanna. We call it the Sushi Train. As you can see from the pictures it is alot of fun to watch the different dishes go by and pick out what looks good. After our feast, Jeff opened his cards from wife, daughter and both cats. He also got two Fathers Day gifts. One was a request (Shrek) the other a little surprise (Blazing Saddles).
