We went for a Sunday drive on the Historic Columbia River Highway. We made several stops to enjoy the scenery and to have a picnic.
We attended the 5th Annual Tie-dye party hosted by Julia. Emily and Jasmine made many colorful items from shirts to socks. Jasmine had a lot of fun playing with Erin, especially the video games.

The annual Washington Park concert series started up here in Portland. So we headed to the International Rose Garden to watch a dance performance. It was a mix of styles from ballet to modern. We packed a yummy picnic of black bean salad, olive tapenade, and toasted bread. Jasmine joined the other kids playing tag or just dancing around. We think this was Jasmine’s first time watching a dance performance and she really enjoyed it. We think lessons are in her future.
