Over the holiday I got a sample of my first deep fried turkey and it was delicious! Many thanks to my brother-in-law Justin and sister Heather for a great holiday dinner.

We spent plenty of time at my sisters house, Hollie, with new baby Joshua.

We celebrated my dad’s 60th birthday with dinner at a Japanese restaurant with friends and family. We ate way too much food and had much merriment.

We traveled to Maryland to spend time with Emily’s mom Carolyn and brother John. During our stay we played bingo at the local library where John works. Carolyn graciously won three times, “I won again, so sorry.” We had lunch with friends Beverly and Mark at a local Italian eatery. And we put John’s Christmas present to good use: we watched all the special features and the full length movie with the extra bonus 30 seconds of footage of… drum roll please… Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
